It is with great pleasure that I announce MoNNet as the winners of the IESE Hult Prize Challenge. Please join me in congratulating, Joseph Liotta, Sweta Desai, Emilie Mendes de Leon and Robert Ralph; and wish them all the best as they represent IESE Business School in the regionals. Also congratulations to the runner-up team Vital (Laura Napoli, Fernanda Lia Mazzi, Ankit Thakkar, Ryan Newell) who will go in a draw for a chance to be the second team presenting IESE.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the participants for their effort, creativity and hard work. This year we had 17 teams register (up from 11 last year). This goes to show the progress we are making with more students interested in social impact and using this platform to turn their ideas into reality. Emily Hinton (first year director) already has great ideas to keep improving next year’s participation and keep the competition going in the years to come!
Lastly thank to all the judges (Joan Jané, Anna de Gea Fiter, Juan Ignacio Zaffora, Joaquim Vilà Vilar and Jordi Cuffi) who really made the day special. They provided great feedback and offered to keep helping the winning teams to hopefully make it through the regionals and ultimately to New York! Special mention to Professor Jane and Professor Vila who proactively took time out of their busy schedules throughout the process to ensure the success of the competition.
